  1. You are so right on target. The goal of any aesthetic enhancement - surgical or non-surgical - should not be to make a 40 year old look 20, or a 60 year old look 40. It should always be to make you look the best that you can look here and now. I interviewed over 100 women for my book on women and cosmetic surgery, and recognized that those who were ultimately happy with their results, went in with realistic expectations. No, your surgeon can not make you look like Angelina Jolie, or rekindle that failed relationship. Those type expectations are doomed to failure. But if you choose wisely, and go in with the proper mindset, s/he can make you look appreciably refreshed and make you feel prettier, more self-confident and sexier.
